Liwathon was honoured to be the main sponsor of a landmark event celebrating the 52nd Independence Anniversary of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, held under the patronage of Mrs. Cecillia Cooper, spouse of the Deputy Prime Minister, and hosted by His Excellency Paul Andrew Gomez, High Commissioner to the Court of St. James’s.

The reception and cultural celebration, held at The Peninsula London on 5th July 2025, brought together distinguished guests to mark “60 Years of James Bond and The Bahamas.” This unique theme highlighted the enduring ties between The Bahamas and the iconic film franchise, showcasing the nation’s cultural influence and its role on the global stage.
