Liwathon Group Announces the Appointment of Brian Chesterman to the Supervisory Board of Alcmene

The Liwathon Group, a leading player in the trading and refining sector in the DACH region, is pleased to announce Brian's appointment to the Supervisory Board of Alcmene. This strategic appointment marks a significant step in Liwathon's ongoing commitment to strengthen its leadership and expand its operations within the industry.


Brian, a distinguished alumnus of the University of Melbourne, graduated in 1984 with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering. His illustrious career began at BP in 1985, where he held various executive positions including Head of Supply in the Rhine region and Global Head of Supply Chain Management. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the refining and supply chain strategies at BP. Before joining Alcmene's Supervisory Board, Brian was based in Berlin, where he served as the CEO managing three German joint venture refinery interests. He also brought his extensive industry experience to the Supervisory Board of PCK Raffinerie GmbH in Brandenburg.


Over the past year, Brian has been a key advisor to the Liwathon Group, providing invaluable insights and guidance as the group expanded its trading and refining business in the DACH region. His appointment to the Supervisory Board is a testament to his deep industry knowledge and ability to drive strategic growth.
